It has been brought to the attention of the Big Cedar Lake District that there are folks using the CD3 Boat Cleaning Station for other uses.
PLEASE DO NOT use the machine for equipment
other than boats and trailers.
This machine records every tool use and will NOT provide the Lake District the information that is needed in order to receive grant monies that assist in funding the Station.
Your cooperation is appreciated.
Information from the Manufacturer:
CD3 Waterless Watercraft Cleaning Systems
CD3 Systems are waterless, free, user-operated cleaning equipment, including a wet/dry vacuum, blower system, tethered hand tools, and lights.
As “smart” equipment, CD3 Systems software reports on the frequency and timing of use while providing automated maintenance alerts to save on annual labor costs.
As boaters, anglers, and hunters, our mission is to develop technologies that empower people to reduce the spread of invasive species, safeguard local economies, and protect the natural environment.
CD3 Stations™ are boat cleaning stations designed to facilitate the on-site cleaning of aquatic invasive species. They are made in Minnesota and include a high-pressure air gun, a powerful wet/dry vacuum, marine lights, and a series of tethered hand tools. The stations are used for cleaning, draining, drying, and disposing of unused bait. These units help boaters remove plant fragments, debris, and standing water trapped in bilges, live wells, and storage compartments.
