Welcome to the Big Cedar Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District!
The Big Cedar Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District (BCLPRD) is a governmental taxing body created in 1975 pursuant to Chapter 33, Wisconsin Statutes.
The BCLPRD meets monthly, usually on the third Wednesday of the month. During alternate months during the winter, the District has a Finance Committee meeting attended by two or three Commissioners rather than a full seven member Commissioners meeting. Please check the website for times and dates of the Finance Committee and full Commissioners meetings.
Big Cedar Lake is the largest lake of 52 in Washington County. Big Cedar Lake offers 10.2 miles of shoreline and over 900 acres of water activities for the outdoor enthusiast.
Through the seasons there are many ways to enjoy your day. During the Summer months bring your family out and enjoy a beautiful day on the water participating in water skiing activities or just enjoying the sun. During the fall and winter months people enjoy getting out for the Walleye and Northern fishing that Big Cedar Lake has to offer. Big Cedar offers some of the best fishing in Washington County. Big Cedar also offers many acres of walking trails that are open to the public and kept up through the summer months by the District. You can enjoy a peaceful walk along these scenic trails year around.
