The contract for trash collection between the Big Cedar Lake District and Waste Management will be expiring at the end of May. The LAST day of collection will be Friday, May 27, 2022.
The new service provider, Badgerland/LRS will be beginning servicing the Big Cedar Lake District on Saturday, June 4, 2022. (Fridays will be the regular collection day, but will be delayed one day due to the Memorial Day holiday)
New containers will be arriving in the new few weeks, and if you have any questions, please reference these documents, or give the BCLPRD office a call at 262-629-9322. There will be someone in the office regularly to address concerns.

If you live in the Big Cedar Lake District, and are in the Town of Polk, and subscribe to Waste Management for your recycling service, your service will remain the same. Lake residents that currently subscribe with Waste Management for recycling may continue to do so. If you choose to subscribe with Badgerland/LRS, you may do so at your expense by calling 608-580-0580.
